We first came across the products we offer early in 2006. As with Remington, "I liked the product so much, I bought the company", We liked these too. We used them on our vehicles and were very impressed.

We couldn't afford to buy the company, so we did the next best thing and entered into a partnership with them to offer their products to you.

We are a small family company that believes in offering fantastic produsts at great prices. Of course all of this counts for nothing without a fast delivery and excellent after sales support.

Whilst thewaxman.co.uk is a new business, the parent company has been trading since 1994, with all the experience and knowledge that time brings.

Company history

Our parent company, Ryklyn UK Ltd, has been trading since 1994. It started as a collectables business dealing in Myth & Magic figures from The Tudor Mint, which took it into jewellery. Ryklyn UK launched its own dedicated jewellery site in 1996 and began trading in handmade silver and gold gem set items. We were almost entirely self taught, picking up information from whatever and wherever possible. A real voyage of discovery.

Ryklyn UK exhibited at various trade and jewellery fairs, sold via their dedicated website until, in August 2001 it was time to take advantage of on-line auctions. We tried Ebay and Yahoo before settling with Ebay. As the making of our jewellery included sourcing quality gemstones we soon learned that buying in bulk was far cheaper. We had found several suppliers that proved to be reliable and bought in a large quantity of good quality stocks. In 1997 we decided to offer the stones we didn't use to the trade and collectors at a fraction of the normal prices. Because we bought direct from the cutters we could undercut even wholesalers and Ryklyn UK Gemstones Direct was launched. To date we have sold well over 5,000 cts of stones and most of those whom buy from us come back again. In 2005 the company was incorporated into what you see today. A properly incorporated company that uses no underhand shortcuts and sucessfully trades across several areas.

What began as a natural progression has blossomed into a fine and respected gemstone supplier extending to its customers what they promised from day one, "Honesty and Integrity above all else." Ryklyn UK Ltd takes immense pride in the groups 100% Positive Feedback rating with Ebay and treats all of its customers like royalty, walking them through their payment process, answering all of their questions and easing any uncertainty that comes with the territory of buying on the Internet. After decades of experience in Banking and Marketing Management, we chose to deal exclusively in areas that we know. The Ryklyn UK Timeline

1994 - Ryklyn UK launched as a finding service and trader of Myth & Magic Pieces from The Tudor Mint.

1996 - Ryklyn UK Jewellery launched to market fine handmade silver and gemstone jewellery.

1997 - Ryklyn UK Gemstones Direct launched to bring affordable quality gemstones to wholasaler, retailers, hobby jewellery makers and collectors alike.

1997 - Ryklyn UK Currency started to sell worldwide banknotes and coins.

1998 - Ryklyn UK Media started as a web page designer.

1998 - Ryklyn UK Publishing was launched to market best selling fiction and SF books.

1999 - Ryklyn UK Airsoft sold 6mm airsoft weapons and ammunition following difficulties expressed by clients in dealing direct with Hong Kong. Ryklyn UK Airsoft deals only with registered club members as per UK law.

2001 - We launched our Ebay Shop.

2004 - Irina & Katya Fine Jewellery took over the fine Diamond and Gemstone jewellery that Ryklyn UK Jewellery had expanded into.

2005 - All the above were incorporated into Ryklyn UK Ltd.

2005 - Ryklyn UK Business Services was launched in response to local enquiries for a Business Plan and Incorporation Service.

2006 - Ryklyn UK Fine Art brought to you wonderful works of fine art from Russian artists that would otherwise never be seen in the UK. We are one of very few company's that is able to legally export art from Russia.

2006 - The Wax Man launched to bring to the market the products of SmartWAX CA Inc, following our own amazement at the results they bring. Shortly to introduce our own label products sourced and blended right here in the UK..

2007 - Ryklyn UK Media: Printworks launched to clear redundant stocks of Print Media.

2008 - Microfibre-UK launched bringing top quality microfibre at below wholesale prices.
